Dark Waters Twenty Thirteen is a weekend festival in Nottingham, UK. A festival over 3 nights showcasing some of the best LIVE Goth and Dark Alternative music plus DJs, club nights, alternative market and more! Our aim at Dark Waters is to bring some of the best bands the scene has to offer here locally in the UK and from Europe to Nottingham. We pride ourselves on having performances from an eclectic mix of bands and music genres over the entire weekend. The Britannia Boat Club is the venue at which Dark Waters is held and is situated on the banks of the river Trent, not a stones throw from the city centre and has had a massive influence in helping shape the music scene within Nottingham. It has had over the years a history of bands who have played there from Led Zepplin to the Sex Pistols (their first gig outside of London) and from Ultravox to Elton John! If that hasn’t got your interest, one of our main reason for holding the festival at The Britannia Boat Club is because it contains a venue with a difference, a ‘cave’! This years festival line up has some début UK performances and a couple of surprises too….
