Tessa’s Time Travel Tours is pleased to announce that our destination will be Victorian-era America, at the very end of 1867. I’ve found a lovely party called Dorian’s Parlor and they’ll be putting together a special New Year’s Eve program just for us. For our location, they’ve selected The Trocadero Theatre, a burlesque theatre which was designated a historic landmark in 2063. It’s a perfect fit!

Of course there will be music and dancing, as well as other entertainment. Since we’ll be celebrating the new year, there will be a champagne toast at midnight.

Our program on the main floor of the Theatre features a full burlesque program by the Busts & Trunks troupe, a stage magic show by Daniel Greenwolf, and recorded music being played by DJ Xtine. There’s plenty of room to dance!

As always, to help facilitate your time travel to and from the party, my time travel service provider, Temporal Mastery, will be keeping a time bubble open throughout the event. If you don’t find the Victorian era as charming as I do, feel free to hang out in the bubble. There will be an actual DJ from the early 2010s playing music from that time period: DJ Mighty Mike Saga. The bubble will be located on the 2nd floor of the Theatre.

I’m making sure that no local Victorian-era folks slip in to the party, so feel free to interpret the Victorian theme in your own way. The music and performances will be evocative of the time period but not necessarily authentic. I was personally thinking of going steampunk as I have a lovely clockwork bird that I want to show off, but it tends to fall off when I’m dancing.

You can book your tickets in advance, but since we’re traveling through time, you can always decide to come at the last moment (although, as always, it’s less expensive to book in advance).

I’m very excited about having a Victorian New Year’s Eve and I hope you’ll come along for the fun.

Warmest regards,
Tessa R.
