Secret Discovery… One of Germany’s most prestigious dark/goth/rock bands to ever emerge on the dark/alternative music scene. A band that hails back to the good old goth days of the 80’s and 90’s from Bochum, Germany, with a diverse sound and strong presence on the goth scene, is back. After a seventeen year break since their last release ‘Alternate’ back in 2006 these German goth rockers are ready to take the dark music world by storm once again with their tenth full length album ‘Truth, Faith, Love’… Released on March 17th 2023 Secret Discovery have delivered yet another dark gem the way they only know how to do best. A special edition with over seventy minutes of music consisting of 15 songs ( 9 album tracks & 6 bonus tracks: 4 new and 2 remixes ), this album does not disappoint…

Truth, Faith, Love… A dark and immensely atmospheric album is the first thought that comes to one’s mind with the first taste of this dark gem.. Long melancholic intros, haunting female backing vocals, dominant piano and guitar melodies and tantalising lyrics could only describe this touching album. Opening track to this dark gem the self-titled tune ‘Truth, Faith, Love’… A dark and deeply meaningful track about loss, regret and love. ‘ I Can’t Breathe’, follows in the same motivo but with a more powerful vibe with sharp guitars and vocals. Highlights of this dark gem the singles ‘Nimm Mich Mit’, featuring Crematory’s Felix Stass and ‘I Cry’. Both very prominent dark melodies on this album which definitely grow on the listener… Tunes along the lines of ‘The Gun’ and ‘Don’t Stop Dreaming’ follow the dark paths of nostalgia, love and despair with their slow and melodic vibes. Bonus tracks the re-recorded ‘In My Life’ ( a track from the Alice 2 period of the band in 2001 ), featuring the legendary German guitarist Axel Rudi Pell, is a captivating killer of a song and the dance remix of ‘Dein Reich’ will set the dark dancefloor on fire with its uptempo dance beat. ‘Poison’…another dark melody with an orchestral intro and haunting female cries takes you deep into the labyrinth of love… Closing track on this dark gem the second remix of ‘Dein Reich’, a more guitar oriented version featuring Kirk Riegner. ‘Truth, Faith, Love’ has it all without a shadow of a doubt…

Secret Discovery have risen from the grave with a dynamic and fiercely touching album reminiscent of the oldschool goth days with a contemporary twist. Frontmen Falk and Kai Hoffman have still got it with a distinctive presence in the goth music world of today.
