Killing Miranda…Bellefest-Celebrating the life and music of Belle Star… The Underworld… Saturday July 29th 2023…
Killing Miranda… London based goth industrial band that formed in the late 90’s and split in 2007 took to the stage one last time after 16 years to commemorate and celebrate their late drummer Belle Star… An iconic figure of the London goth/rock/alternative scene for decades who recently sadly passed away… Sharing the stage with a number of other bands that Belle Star was also a part of Killing Miranda played a short set but managed to set The Underworld on fire… The band walked on stage a little after 8pm opening with their goth industrial hit ‘Discotheque Necronomicon’ much to the crowd’s delight… A track taken from their first album ‘Transgression By Numbers’… Following in the same dynamic motivo with tracks such as ‘Touched By Jesus’ and ‘Teenage Vampire’ Killing Miranda delivered a short but powerful set which left the crowd in awe… A touching performance which older fans much anticipated and revelled in and newer fans relished…Belle Star would have been proud… R.I.P…
