Twin Tribes… When all your thoughts have been cast aside… One of the most promising newer dark-synth/dark-wave acts to emerge on the contemporary goth/alternative scene in 2017… Based in Brownsville Texas, these lads have taken the goth music world by storm with their catchy dark 80’s influenced melodies, captivating lyrics and videos and uplifting shows… After four album releases and countless performances in the US, South America and Europe this charismatic duo is ever evolving as musicians with a growing fanbase of thousands day by day, not only in their homeland but across the globe… When all your thoughts have been cast aside… Twin Tibes…
London… Thursday August 29th 2024…Oslo… Hackney… Pendulum Tour 2024… Twin Tribes are back in London for the second time after their debut show at Reptile Club back in October 2021… The fourth stop of their UK dates after their sold out shows in Manchester, Brighton and Bristol on their second European Tour… Supported by Chicago’s electro pop duo Wingtips Luis Navvaro and Joel Nino Jr. were more than happy to be back in London after three years for yet another sold out show… The exceptional Hackney venue Oslo hosted the boys this time round with a very welcoming and enthusiastic crowd… Lots of young music fans awaiting with anticipation for the lads to step on stage… Many new faces filled with excitement as time drew near for their first Twin Tibes gig… At 9pm sharp the lights went dim and Luis and Joel took to the stage and delivered a set that kept everyone dancing til the very end… These boys never disappoint… From older faves like ‘Shadows’, ‘Portal To The Void’, ‘Heart & Feather’, ‘Peridos’ to newer faves like ‘Monolith’ from the new ‘Pendulum’ album … Melodic guitar riffs, dark synths and haunting vocals enveloped the enchanting Oslo venue from the beginning to the very end… The encore was definitely one of the night’s highlights with closing track the epic fave ‘Fantasmas’… This catchy tune had everyone singing til the last note… ‘I don’t believe anymore… I don’t believe anymore…’ Soon after 10 pm the lads sadly left the stage leaving their fans in awe and still dancing… Luis and Joel delivered another great show to the London crowd… An uplifting and fun night to remember… These lads are definitely destined to go far in the music world… Bravo boys… Until next time… When all your thoughts have been cast aside… Twin Tribes… By Tzina Dovve (DJ Lady Davinia)…
