Rest In Peace Hajji Majer
Hajji was an excellent musician and east village person for many years. He worked at Yaffa late into the mornings after the clubs let out. He was always a friendly face to see there and his presence helped popularize the restaurant with a generation of cool kids. As a drummer, he performed at DJ Jason’s events at Coney Island High & CBGBs while in the great NYC Goth band Mors Syphilitica with Eric Hammer and Lisa Hammer. We at Absolution are very saddened by this terrible news.
