R.I.P. Christopher Harnois of The Dirge Carolers
Rest in Peace Christopher Harnois. Christopher Harnois was the founding member of The Dirge Carolers, a CT band that traversed from Goth and Alternative to Steampunk. Christopher passed on July 4th, Independence Day seemingly from cardic issues.
His band members write, “It is with deep sadness that we share news of the passing of our friend and bandmate, Christopher Harnois. His spirit left his body on July 4th, 2026, in what we believe to be a coronary event.
Chris was a rock star. He founded his band The Dirge Carolers over thirty years ago, using his creative soul, powerfully beautiful voice, and strong work ethic to create a body of work that will live on as his legacy. His gentle spirit and steady presence were a boon and a comfort to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.”
