DJ Cyclonus started DJing clubs in 2002 with guest spots at Long Island’s Sphere party and DJ Cesar‘s (one of the founders of Re:Mission Wednesdays at the Far Side) famous Detour Saturdays party. Over the years, he also had guest DJ spots at DJ Ian FFord‘s long running Tuesday party, Electra-City, when it was at The Pyramid, Absolution at Flamingo East, the Long Island Beltane Festival in Wantagh Park, The Red Party at The Orchard Bar & Cybertron at Shelter.
In July of 2004, DJ Cyclonus promoted his own one-shot event called Dancitron at Metasin in Levittown NY, at which he spun 80’s Wave, Synth-Pop, House, Techno, & EBM.
Currently, DJ Cyclonus has been producing and DJing a party called Arkham Saturdays once a month. In 2008, Arkham Saturdays started at Peggy O’Neill’s in Brooklyn and has since been at Public Assembly and also Boulevard Tavern with some absences in between. The current version of Arkham Saturdays features DJ Jose (aka DJ Xfixiation) and 2 other DJs that vary month to month.
